Help!!! Newbie in Show &Shine
Well, my girl and I just finished washing her suv and it has plastic door panels on the lower section of the doors. We tried to remove tar from the plastic and used those green scrubber pads. Hence, the problem, it left the grey plastic dull in color as well as serious scuff from the pads. Anyways can yall give me advice, my girl feels horrible right now. I'm thinking Zaino 16 or 3M?? Thanx in advance to all. daniel.

Hmmm, it sounds as if those pads you were using are the equivalent to a very fine grit sandpaper, which will leave the surface very dull without polishing the marks out. The only thing I can suggest is 3M Plastic Cleaner and Polish. http://www.3m.com/market/automotive/product5.html
Next time try WD-40 and a cotton rag first to remove the tar before going to a really abrasive method...
