Hand applied paint cleaners?

What are some good paint cleaner products that can be used effectively by hand? I also have a cheap, electric orbital polisher that I could apply it with.

I have pretty bad cobwebs and I want to get rid of them.

I have had good experience with Meguiars 3 step system. And until I get an orbital buffer, I will continue to use them.

I have some ScratchX by Meguiars, any idea if that would do the trick? Will it at least take off the old wax?

If you don't have Zaino on the car, then washing with Dawn will get rid of the wax.

3M Scratch & Swirl Remover works good, if you are doing a large area or the whole car you will get the best results with a buffer vs doing it by hand, it tough by hand to keep the constant pressure the same.

wizards makes good products that are used by professionals. be careful on the cleaners though as you'll rub your clear off over time.

If all your dealing with is the stupid spider type of swirls wash it with hot water and Dawn dish soap, then apply a good wax Zanio comes to mind and Wizards make a good wax that I really like. That should do the trick. There's no need to buff your car and stay the hell away from orbital buffers, those things are worse than handing a 2yr. old a grinder and telling them to play by your car.

Meguiars Mirror Glaze fine cut cleaner, works very well for small scratches and swirls, stains and other stuff including light oxidation.
