First time applying Zaino have few ?.

Why do you have to apply z6 between coats of z2 or z5?

After you apply z6 do you have to wait a while for to apply second coat of z5 or z2 or you can do it right away?

How many coats should I put on my 93z, I was thinking of one coat of z5 and finish with z2?

Thanks guys.

Lemme see if I can hit these:

1) You do not "have" to apply Z6 between coats, but it is nice to do... it helps the next layer go on even easier, and it makes the shine pop a bit more... sometimes I do this step, sometimes I don't.

2) Spray on the Z6, and wipe it off... you do not want it to dry onm the surface.

3) You can put as many coats as you like on the car... Zaino stacks, so you are never wasting any effort!

Remember, if you're getting less than THREE coats per OUNCE (half a mixing bottle), you're using TOO MUCH. I would do 2 coats of Z5 and 2 coats of Z2 to start. Using Z6 between each layer is kind of a waste.... I would just Z6 at the very end.

One ounce can really go that far? About my second question, I asked Mike at Zaino if I can apply second coat of z2 or z5 right after z6 or do I have to wait? His answer was " No you can't thanks" WTF how long do I have to wait then before I can apply second coat of z2 or z6? How many of you skip z6 between coats?

Sorry for so many questions, its my first time using this product I want to get it right.

Yes, you can apply the Zaino right after applying Z6. I don't why he told you different. I've did it, and I'm sure others here do it as well.

If you're using ZFX, it will take each coat of Z5/Z2 about 20-30 minutes to cure....once you remove, apply the next one whenever you want (right away, in an hour, next week, 3 months from now, etc)
