Post Ever Notice....?

That a lot of Zaino pictures are from angles that would make any polish/wax look good.

Ie. Shade pictures, cloudy day pictures, or the one where someone takes a picture of the car from about a 5 degree angle so all you can see is a reflection.

From a 5 degree angle, my car looks just as good with nothing on it, as it does with Zaino or anything for that matter.

I would like to see pictures of Zainoed cars in direct sunlight sometime to see if anyone has the same problems as me.

I say this because I haven't found Zaino to be the miracle I was looking for. It's good but I still haven't gone nuts yet. And trust me, I'd love to admit I was wrong later.

Jeff

I agree with you somewhat. black cars will reflect everything no matter what. It's just like a mirror. But i do see more of a glossy effect with the Zaino then i did with Meguire's Gold Class. It seems to stay "glossy" longer also. And the application is 100 times better than having white powder from regular wax everywhere, including minor scratches. I have the Mystic color paint, and I noticed more of a color adjustment with the zaino on it than without it on.

jkayner, nice car! Looks very familiar to me for some reason.

Mine is a '97 Blue-Green Chameleon Trans-Am also, A4 with the same wheels to boot, we are virtually twins! Heck, our cars may have rolled off the assembly line together (mine was built in January of '97). I like how the silver "Trans-Am" plaque looks on the doors, I had actually thought of doing the same thing when I got mine back in '97, kind of accentuates the wheels nicely.

But to get back on topic and address Captain Jeff's post, I have been using Zaino for over a year now, and before that Zymol. Both shined the car equally, but Zaino's added bonus is that it is much easier to apply and remove, will not leave a white residue, and it lasts way longer than anything I have ever used. While I agree that many Zaino shots are at angles and anything with a decent paint job can show the same effect with little or no wax/polish, I have personally noticed a big difference in the appearance of my paint than ever before. I can't explain it, but the shine is much wetter and deeper, and the natural Chameleon effect of my paint is more pronounced than anything I could have achieved using Zymol.

Maybe it's the way Zaino smells that creates an intoxicating effect, but I am happy with the way Zaino performs and as such, Zaino will be the only thing I will use on any car I own.

There was a test done on a website, I don't have the link, but it tested a few types of waxes, and proved that no matter what you use, you cannot tell any difference in an online photograph for results. they all look the same on your computer.

That makes perfect sense.

One time in the summer I looked at my paint after an application of 3M Swirl remover from a low angle and it looked just as it did with Zaino.

Just so everyone knows my opinion on Zaino.
Better than wax, but not what I was hoping for. Maybe I expected too much, or I'm too fussy.

I forgot to mention, the reason I use Zaino is because it protects the paint so well. It doesn't melt or wear off quickly like a carnuba wax will. That in itself is the biggest benifit of Zaino. JMO
