Scotch-gard is awesome! Espically if your car is a daily driver. It beads and repels everything.

Ditto that. S-G is great protection for carpets, especially for the low price. Think of it as a car wax for carpets... I put some on all my carpet surfaces when I first got my car, and the interior still looks like it's brand new. Of course, occasional touch-ups with Lifter1 also help greatly.

3M is not selling Scotchguard in consumer form any longer, it was pulled from the shelves a few years ago for either EPA or health concerns. I think you can still buy it in large containers to be mixed with water and sprayed commercially, but as far as I know you can not find it on store shelves. 303 Fabric Guard and Stoners Fabric Guard are things you can use and find.
