dried ZFX

I have been using Zaino for a while and works great for me.

But somehow, my ZFX that I stored in my garage dried out?! Anyone has seen this or know if I can recover this?

I have been reading some of the tips and saw that you can Z2 or Z5 without ZFX and that you only really need to ZFX every 6 months or so. I have use the ZFX everytime before, but can I go ahead and use just the Z2 without ZFX and make sure that it is dried before waxing off.

thanks

Yep, go ahead and use the Z2. I don't know what to do about the ZFX. Guess I had better check mine and see if it is still OK.

I've never heard of ZFX drying out. If frozen it can turn into something like very thick Jello though.

Yes, it is like thick jello right now. Never been frozen only kept in the garage in CA. Is there anything I can do about it like microwaving it or let it sit in really hot water?

thanks

I have heard of it turning thick if frozen or high heat, or if the cap was off for a long time.

I store all of my detailing supplies, like waxes, polishes, etc, in two duffle bags in the house. This way they aren't subjected to extreme heat or cold, and remain a stable temp. All waxes and polishes will benefit from keeping them in a more stable environment, Zaino included.
