Do Zaino products smell good on purpose?

Is the various scents of Zaino products inherent to the product and it's chemical makeup? or is it an added chemical/substance? kinda like subliminal advertising by making it further appealing to the senses? Is the scent created in manufacturing by accident and by chance it smells good? or does Sal have 50gal drums of the various "scents" in liquid form to add to his products to make them more appelaing? ...just curious.

If so, they missed the boat on Z1. Whew!

I'm addicted to the scent of Z6 though. I think the next "new" product should be a Z6 scented interior air freshener. The vinyl/rubber protectant smell isnt quite the same and doesnt last that long.

Sal adds the scents to Z-2,3,5,6,7,9,10,12, and 16. Z-16 Tire Gloss does not smell as great as some but who cares, it is just on the tires. I prefer the use of Z-10 on all interior parts including leather and plastics.

Z-10 probably does not need a lot of help in the scent area as it contains real leather oil extracts.

Also, if you notice the color of the label on most product corresponds with the given products scent. For instance the Z-6 has a purple label and kinda smells like grape, the Z-2 has a red label and kinda smells like cherries, and the Z-7 has a blue label and has a blue berry smell.

Bet ya'll guys have never picked up on that!!

LOL. That's true...

Hmm... by that logic then... what does Z5 smell like? It has the black bottle.

I always thought it smelled like Bubble Gum or something... must be Black Olives instead

heheh.

Cool

Actually, like Kevin suggested, Sal does add his own unique aromatics to most of the products. So, the smell is just an added benefit in the most commonly used products. For instance, the Z2 in its pure form is very neutral smelling, kinda like a light spirits, but nothing repulsive. The aromatics are added to make the products that much more appealing to use on a regular basis. Z1 doesn't really bother me because it's not used too often, and the Z16 smells like a normal tire dressing IMO.

So, yes, they are designed to drive you wild with the odor.
