Question Detaillin' your SS?

The previous owner of my SS never used any kind of interior protector. The Dash, plastics, etc. are all virgin, so to speak. He instructed me to leave it alone because once you start to treat it, you have to keep it up and some of the counter stuff is actually bad, i.e.- Armour All.

My SS is in my garage always and it's not my daily driver so no worries about the sun killing my dash. My questions......

> Should I treat my dash, plastics, etc(being it's never been treated)? And with what product? Non-greasy, good smelling? What's the best out there?

> What is the best leather seat cleaner/conditioner on the market?

> What is the best stuff to preserve/protect the delicate rubber weatherstripping around the windoes and T-Tops? Vaseline? Silicone in a grease form or spray and what's the BEST brand?

> What's the best tire dressing for a nice, clean glossy look but is dry to the touch and will not rub off or come off easy?

Thanks in advance for any and all feedback!

Formula 303 Aerospace Protectant, get it at Zellers

> What is the best leather seat cleaner/conditioner on the market?

Zaino leather cleaner and Zaino leather conditioner

Zaino Z16 Tire Dressing does well, along with the 303 Protectant

303 Aerospace Protectant is a little less shiny than Z16 Tire dressing, both are excellent products

Thumbs up

Thanks Doh-Hunter, I'm in Florida and no "Zellers" here. Where else can I get this "303 protectant"? Sounds like the Zaino Leather and tire stuff will do the job on my seats and T-top rubber.

BTW, how do you like your GMMG exhaust? I'm getting one soon. I have a stock LS-1 F-body SS.

You'll love the GMMG....if you have the cash opt for the large oval tips, or pick some dual duals up. Thats what I did (the latter).

Go to http://www.303products.com and search for a retailer near you.

Good luck, nice car.
