I've done it a few times, always covering the opti.

1. Cover Opti
2. Lightly rinse engine bay.
3. Spray Simple Green
4. Wipe
5. Rinse

Never spraying directly at the opti.

I took my car to the car wash and pounded the crap out of it with the pressure washer. Worked really good but it not an LT1 with and opti but what's the big deal about the opti getting wet???

Do you by any chanve have stereo setup in your car...I saw the blue power wire with a fuse on it and im just curious.
