Detail Questions
Detail Questions
First question is does anyone know of a product as good as CD2 for detailing the engineI swear I have never seen such beaty even on a brand new car. Unfortunately they discontinued it so i am looking for something just as easy and nearly perfect as it was.
Secondly I have some perfect-it II buffing compund that I made a few passes on a certain spot with that took out most of the major spider scratches but there are still some, a vastly smaller amount and not as bold, present that would not come out but I could not feel them with my finger nail. Should I use a heavier compound? I dont want to use a heavy compund and then have to go back over it again with a finer compound if I dont have to, but if that is the way, Ill do it, I just need a little advice.
Thanks

Re: Detail Questions
as for the first question, i'd use a degreaser on it, covering the intake, spark plugs, and o2 sensors, then hose it down. then i'd go back and use a tire shine/vinyl cleaner on the plastic and rubber bits.
