A couple Zaino ?'s

I'm going over Zaino's new (and convenient) site...And I'm trying to decide what all I need for my car...
How important is the Z6? What all does it do? I couldn't really gather enough info from the site to reach a conclusion on that...
What are good uses for the Z14?
What are your reviews on the Z16?

The Z6 is a great product if you like to QD your car for that instant shine. Z6 is basically Zaino's version of a quick detail spray that most manufacturers offer, although the Z6 is very different from 99% of the detail sprays out there. Most detail sprays are simply water or even alcohol based, contain a slight gloss enhancer (usually oils or silicones), and have a tiny amount of carnauba wax added. The Z6 is different in that it contains the same type of polymer that is used in the Zaino show car polishes. And, it contains a fresh water spot remover, a UV agent, and an antistatic agent!! I have not seen a QD spray yet that offers all these benefits in a QD product. You simply spray the Z6 on the car, spread it around, and wipe clean with a dry towel. It will enhance the Zaino shine and add tons of slickness, literally. Not to mention that Z6 smeels good enough to drink! I mainly use Z6 only after washing the car or while polishing the car with Z2 or Z5. There are plenty of folks who use the Z6 at car shows to remove dust, fingerprints, etc, and it give that instant touchup showcar shine. Many like to use Z6 to remove light dust from the car, but I personally do not like to do this at all. I will only wash to remove any dust/dirt. I never QD a dirty/dusty car and I know I'm the exception, but it's just the way I like it and it keeps my finish out of trouble. Anyhow, if you like to QD often to add instant gloss, slickness, or to extend the durability of the polsihes, then grab a bottle or two!

The Z14 is the only Zaino product I have never used. I have heard many many good things about it from those that do use it, so if I need a great plastic polish I'll probably go with the Z14. For now, I am using Plexus plastic cleaner/polish because I found some locally.

The Z16 is a fantastic tire dressing, I just wish it were a bit more durable. The thing that I like most about it is that it will not sling! I've applied it thick and thin, and never any slinging. Z16 is not meant for the ultra-glossy look. It will give a kinda "new" and matte look to the tire that IMO looks great. Here's Z16 in the sun on my car, but keep in mind that the sun reflecting off the tire is making the Z16 look more shiny than it is...... http://mls1.homestead.com/files/DCP_0006_7.jpg

You can see the Z16 on my rear wheel in the shade in this pic...

And finally, a full side shot of both tires with Z16 and a fresh coat of Zaino.....

I also like Stoner's More Shine Less Time....another really fantastic tire product!!

Z-6 is my biggest selling product, I order about 2 cases of z-6 for every case of Z-2 or Z-5. Personally, I use Z-6 on my own cars and trucks just about every day. (I clean my car and truck after every drive back home from work or any other long trip where it gets bugs, dust, etc)

The bottles of Z2 and Z5 can last over a year. A bottle of Z6, maybe a week...

Obviously the previous statement will change on how nuts you are about the car. But definitely buy more Z6 than you think you need. You won't regret it. You'll find your self giving your vehicle a "quick spray" of Z6 to wipe off the day's dust, or rain splatter after getting caught in a rain shower that wasn't suppose to happen. The Z6 is quick and easy spray to keep the Zaino shine on the vehicle between the Z2 and Z5 applications. But just to give you an idea of my stock level is;
I have two bottles of Z2, two bottles of Z5, one bottle of the Lok, two bottles of Z6 in the car, another two on the garage shelf and four more bottles of Z6 in the basement.
Hope this helps,

Talking

Hehehe....sounds like you're a Zaino collector Ron!!

But, I can't say anything....I guess I am too!

My current inventory (and this includes only Zaino....I've got tons of other stuff too! )
3 ZFX kits
1 bottle Z1
10 bottles Z2
4 bottles Z5
3 1/2 bottles of Z7
3 bottles of Z6
1 Z18
2 bottles Z10
1 bottle Z12
1 bottle Z16
a million Zaino applicators

And a few extra special Z items.....

I'm afraid to total all this up..... And, not even counting what I've used up in the past.....

Mike
