Question Cleaning my wheels after Zainoing them

I have always used Meguir's Hot Rims spray wheel cneaner on my wheels... works great.

I have put several coats of Zaino on my wheels now... can I still use the Hot Rims? Or will it remove the Zaino?

Thumbs up

I'm sure that stuff's abrasive, so it will remove the Zaino, not to mention slowly harm your clearcoat.

Now hat you have Zaino on them, just use Z-7 when you wash the rest of your car, and Z-6 in between.

I do not like any of the quick wheel cleaner, most contain HF acid, you should just be able to wash your wheels once a week with car wash.

OK, I'll try to avoid it then... I used to get some stubborn brake dust that just wouldn't come off any other way...

The spray on Hot Rims also did a good job of cleaning the inner side of the rims which is almost inpossible to do by hand unless you go through taking the wheels off...
