Cleaning my new ss
Sorry I didn't answer sooner, I was away for awhile.
Ok, have you waxed it before? If you want my recommendation (I am biased with pure carnauba wax products), then I highly recommend starting with a three step regimen, that starts with a clearcoat safe cleaner, followed by a neutral "gloss" polish, and finishing with one or up to two coats of pure carnauba wax (as a start). After this three step process, you will only need pure carnauba wax follow-ups until the end of your season.
If its pure carnauba wax, then decide on how much you should spend and what makes sense. A very good and reliable product line I'd tell you to use is mothers. They have an excellent three step wax product line. Like I said earlier, do not make shortcuts in getting cheap wax or cleaners, ever.
Like I said in my earlier posts, I use a zymol pure concentrated carnauba wax product. Zymol recommends a two step process with their product, and I'd never second guess this excellent company, but even with zymol I use a three step process. I want the paint to be as clean and prepped as possible before putting on a fresh coat of carnauba wax for the first time in a year's wax season. It adds to the smoothness and luster of the finish.
Do your homework though, first by deciding if natural wax or synthetic polish is the way to go. If you REALLY want my unabridged opinion, I'd have to answer a pm from you (I can get really besides myself with this topic, and sometimes I forget that the best way to pick wax is to try it for yourself).
Let me know how you do.

The car has not been cleaned except what was done at the dealership. Overall I like a polish better than an actual wax. Tell me what you think and the exact products you would recommend.
If you are referring to a gloss type of polish (not referring to Zaino, it is a different animal), it will not offer you more protection and as deep of a finish than wax. Some dealers will give you a type of "polish" gloss that looks real slick when you take it home, but if you observe closely with a well waxed paint surface, you won't see as good of a color definition, or a smooth to the touch feel, in my opinion.
The best product that I would recommend that you start with is the Mother's three step system that includes a cleaner, gloss type polish, and pure wax.

Numbers....I am not sure but they will probably have them labeled as steps 1, 2 and 3. Your best bet is to try autozone, as Mothers should be fairly wide in availability. Push to shove, then try their website...Mothers.com?, and you could try ordering it there. Look around first, because that is a very popular brand, in addition to being a very good product.
