cleaning LT1 intake

car has been sitting outside for a few years...finally got it under cover and want to try to undo the damage....intake is cruddy from moisture...what's good to clean it without taking it off the car?

i know this is an old post but me and a buddy used carbuerator cleaner on my old 93 v6 to clean it out before.. worked wonders

Just be really careful where you get the carb cleaner. That can be some strong stuff.
