Cleaning Headlights
Ok, I have a 99 Camaro with the bug-eye headlights and they're not nearly as clear as they use to be. What can I use on the plastic lenses to bring them back to the way they were when it was new? As a note, I've checked to see if they're leaking water in and they're not, so I know that's not part of the problem. Thanks,
Brandon

You'll need a plastic polish....
Zaino, 3M, Mother's, and Meguiar's all make plastic polishes used for restoring lenses and other plastic pieces.
As a side note, you can also use a general metal polish as well if you already have some....

the plastics that the factory uses suck. they will begin to yellow in a matter of months. look for aftermarket clears or replacement lenses. i had a mustang that had yellow headlights, 100 bucks later and four screws, better than new.
Plexus
Look into Plexus. This is plastic cleaner and protectant. Widely used by motorcyclist to maintain clear windscreens and helmet visors. This is really good stuff. Great for cleaning interior tint on windows also. If you need a slightly stronger polishing agent, try Meg #9 and follow up with Plexus. Plexus should solve your problem unless the lens are beyond repair. There are many plastic cleaners out there but the main thing is to polish and protect the plastic lens often ( several times a year).
