cleaning exhaust tips????

i have BOrla carbon fiber exhaust tips, when they were new they had a nice shine on the polished edges, but now they are really dirty and not shiney anymore,

is there anything good to remove the black stuff from the polished edges,
and how can i make the carbon fiber part of it shine too, wax, polish, anything????
thanks,

1) For the polished egdes, try mothers chrome cleaner or some autosol metal polish, but DO NOT get it on the carbon fibre part....I assume it would be gel coated and each of these products would scratch it.

2) For the carbon fibre part (and the polished part after you are done cleaning it) just use your favourite brand of wax, ie. I use old bottles of Z5 or Z2 for tips and rims.

Ditto, chrome cleaner will do the trick on the metal parts, but I don't know about the carbon fiber.

Mothers chrome or chrome and billet polish. For the hard stains use braso, but make sure to wax these areas after wards. Also keep this off the carbon fiber it may damage it.
