My black SS looks like crap! A few questions..

I need to get rid of some water spots and some fine scratches on my paint before I do the ZAINO treatment again! What do I need to buy and should I buff it? It has been almost been 6 months before I did the zaino thing and yes I am now hitting myself in the mouth!

Thanks

Step 1: wash and clay it
Step 2: use 3M Swirl Mark Remover part number 39009 with an orbital buffer and foam pad
Step 3: Wash with Dawn
Step 4: Zaino

Zaino can not be applied on top of other waxes or polishes so Dawn is used to strip the paint of these other waxes and/or polishes.

www.zainobros.com is the home page and there are distributors all over the country

"What is clay?"

Look here: http://www.erazer.com/prod01.htm

http://carforums.com/auto_help/paint...t_clay_bar.php

Clay basically removes deep surface contminants without abrading the paint surface. Claying really makes a difference in any waxing routine!

Questions..........

Kevin.......I got my Zaino but have not had time to do the SS yet.

However.......

I recently bought a Sears 6 inch buffer(machine) for $30.00 and it comes with terry cloth bonnets and a few blue colored application pads. These blue pads look and feel rough....... so is it ok to use on the finish or is the foam much better? My local Pep Boys has the foam pads made by Turtle Wax. Also..... a lot of guys on the now non-existing Autopia website recommend the Porter Cable buffer-the high speed machine at about $110.00..... is this a good investment or is it better by hand and a cheap Sears buffer?

Thanks again and your da man!!!!!!
