Thumbs up CD-2 engine detailing kit

Big thumbs up for this stuff, dunno if anyone has used it before but it was $6.99 and cam with an engine cleaner and engine detailer. Just follow the directions and it takes atleast an hour but afterwards when you wipe the excess detailer off EVERYTHING even the stuff that was stained white from water deposits shimmers a deep black and all the grease and grime is GONE makes the hoses all look like NEW, and the valve covers and intake shine as well as all the wires and fenders and what not. It was really easy to do and I would highly recomend this stuff. Only prob I had was I just just barely had enough of the cleaner but I was pretty crazy with it, and a whol lot of the detailer left over. My engine was very clean before this but I sprayed it even all over the engine even the clean spots and after I hosed it off the grimey parts looked about the same.

How are you protecting your Opti during the hose down?

just dont spray directly on it or put a grocery bag right above it on top of the waterpump housing....the water runs off the intake behind the water pump housing onto the opti but I havent had any probs even with out a grocery bag there.... strange

oriellys is where I got mine... got a job at an acura dealership here in plano and a guy I work with wanted me to pop the hood, so I do and he goes off about how freakin clean it is and "This is nearly 10 years old"??? said he had a friend with a 2000 z28 that would **** a brick. Felt pretty good so I finished washing my car and detailed the interior as well
