Unhappy Car got keyed, help!!!!

So some a## hole keyed my car! I got the scratches fixed, they were not deep so I had them sanded out. Now, the problem is that if I step away, it's full of swirl marks, disgustng! What are my options instead of repainting the car?

After the sanding, I'm assuming they used a rubbing compound to remove the sanding marks. After the rubbing compound, you have to go back over the area with a good swirl remover to remove the compounding marks. It's probably the compounding that you're seeing. So, buy some 3M Swirl Mark Remover #39009 or Meguiar's #9 2.0 Swirl Remover and go over the affected area a few times if neessary. If that's not working, try some 3M Rubbing Compound Fine Cut 39002 then follow with the SMR.

Claybars remove contaminents. They dont fill in scratches and swirls.

Thumbs down

Imagine being so lame that you have to key someones car...Then, imagine you're so lame that you don't even do it right by getting down to the bare surface??? If you ever find out who did it don't beat him, cause he is too stupid to understand why he is getting beat...

Unless that person takes the "short" bus to school, I say they are still in for a beating.
