well, i know its a tough job but i couldnt really afford to take it anywhere so..

anyway my car is black and had tiny scratches over the whole car! it got washed with a brush and just scratched it up. anyway it made my car look horrible so i had to give it a go. well my car now looks better but you can definitely tell someone who doesnt know what they were doing buffed it.

any tips to get those buff marks out on black? should i try the car by hand? or just keep practicing?

 

what are you buffing it with?

 

was using black foam with a swirl remover, bout 1200 rpms

 

Try a couple coats of NXT Tech wax applied by hand then removed by hand. The car may need to be wet sanded and glazed. If the wax doesnt help take it to a professional painter and have them wetsand/buff it.

 

I would wash it ounce or twice before applying any sealant as you do not want to cover those buffer marks.

 

Hire a pro.

Black car is not want you want to start with or it can look like crap, as said best thing to do is take it to a good body or detail shop so they can get it baclk looking good. Find something to practice on so you can get better and do the job yourself. Here are some tips for starters if using a Porter Cable buffer
