which is better?

Which is better of these two?

Blue Corral Chrome Wheel Polish
or
Mothers Chrome Wheel Polish

I know everyone says that Zaino works great on chrome, and I have seen it too. I just want to try something else and see how well it works. There isn't much out there, as these are my only two choices. So does anyone know which one is better?

I second the mothers. Sorry to all those who love Zaino, not all of us want to spend that kind of money.

Zaino does not make a metal polish, metal polishes contain solids (which are the abrasives) these polishes polish off defects in the chrome, unless you have chrome problems there is no reason to use an abrasive, just apply what ever you use on the paint to protect them and to prevent brake dust from sticking.

Well, I'd pick Mother's as well from those two choices.

I think you see a lot of people recommending Zaino because it's what they are already using on the paint as well. If you were going to order Zaino, I'd certainly recommend you use it on the paint as well as the wheels. Then again, if you don't want to use Zaino polish for just the wheels, the Mother's would be a great alternative.

Since I started hearing about Zaino when i first joined the board, I decided to check it out. I've been a dedicated Zaino user since April 2001! I've got plenty of the stuff right now. I just wanted to try something that is meant for the wheels. Thanks for the help guys.

If your wheels are clear coated chrome, they you are not supposed to use a metal polish on them anyway. Even if they are non clear coated chrome, anytime you use an abrasive on a chrome plated surface you should be trying to remove some sort of defect like dullness or scratches because abrasives always try to remove or cover deep scratches with smaller ones that the eye can not see.
