like the post says, which brand would you recommend besides zaino, thats available at a local auto parts store..ive heard good things about meguiars...what do you think..

 

The Mothers 3 step system was one that I used before Zaino and I found it to be good.

1. Cleaner
2. Sealer and Glaze
3. Wax

Also the claybar and Showtime detailer were also good accessories.

Meguiar's, Mothers, or 3M are about as good as it gets for store bought. I used Meg's (and other stuff) for years before going to Zaino. I generally liked Meg's Gold Class, Medallion, or #26. Problem is that those only last about 2 to 3 weeks then it's time to rewax. Plus, I noticed some yellow/orange tinting over the years using that stuff. At NAPA, they sell the 3M Paste Show Car Wax that contains Acrylic Silicone Fluoropolymer. Honestly, if I were to go back to store bought carnuba, I'd probably use the 3M paste or order more Blitz wax online. Mother's is good too; you can't really go wrong using any of these quality name brand products for the average weekend warrior.
