Use 100% cotton mitt. The only true 100% cotton mitts any more seem to be the ones at NAPA. I've ordered them by the dozen before.

I still use the old stock Viking. Just make sure it's 100% cotton like Kevin V suggests, and 100% made in USA. This doesn't guarantee good results, but it's a first step in looking for a decent product. I've had mixed results from the NAPA mitts, but YMMV. I checked out some mitts at NAPA again recently and they all seemed to suffer from the black seed issue that mine did, which is what I believe causes the light marring. I gave mine to a relative...

The NAPA mits are good to go, they get a thumbs up from me. The black spots and seeds are gone in the new ones plus they are cheap and have a big and little size.
