Best engine cleaner?

Hey i was just wondering what you guys would recommend for making my engine really shine. I tried some citrus orange cleaner and detailer stuff. I cleaned it and didn't really notice a difference. Then i detailed it, which is just spraying on the stuff and letting it dry on your engine. The engine is not any cleaner, but it does smell like oranges. My engine is pretty clean but i want it to shine as much as possible. Just wondering what kind of cleaning stuff you guys have had the best luck with. Thanks.
