Anyone ever heard of Met-All aluminum polish?
On the can, it says "met-all" aluminum polish formula no.1187, it also says that it conforms to MIL P-6888B (ASG), whatever that means. It is manufactured by DARS MET-ALL Industries, inc out of Long Island, NY. A friend of mine who's father is an airplane mechanic gave me a can of it. It says on the can that it removes spots, stains, and prevents the loss lustre, oxidation, and positively removes pitting and prevents its occurance. I don't want to necessarily try it w/o someone's prior knowledge of the product. Sounds too good too be true. Any ideas?

Ok, that MIL number is the military spec for the product, they use that as a universal identifier for the stuff. It's a number-ing system they use for lots of stuff (motor oil, hydralic fluid...).
I've never used that stuff before, but I know "NEVR DULL" is pretty good stuff. They call it "Magical Wadding Polish". I used it on my C5 rims and got them looking brand new.
