93-97 front bumber cover
hey my front bumber cover is cracked in 3 places under turn signals and by the wheel well. Ive been looking to buy another one but heard that alot of the aftermarket ones dont fit very well....... im not trying to buy a body kit. i want the same stock one. Anyone know a place that sells them or a good website?
or am i better off pulling one of another camaro and sanding and priming it?
Also will i need to buy new brackets etc.. or can i use my old ones?

A new front bumper cover will cost you around $225-300 which you will most likely have to sand, prime, and don't forget paint. IMHO, you are better off getting one off a junked car that's in descent shape and restore it the same way; only spending less on the piece. You can reuse your old brackets or the ones that are on the donor car: which ever ones are in better shape.

You're better off pulling one off of another Camaro. The aftermarket one's they sell online are junk and pain in the *** to get to fit properly. You should be able to reuse your brackets as long as they arnt damaged.

I think most of the bolts are 10mm. Theres a couple little ones, like a 6 or 8mm under the headlights, have to go underneath to get to them. If I remember right theres two 8mm inside each fender well too holding the inner fender liner on. Other than that theres a bunch of those push pin plastic things. Not real hard, just take your time and it'll be off. Dont tear your signal wires off, you should be able to twist the sockets out of the housings when you get your fender liners loose or out. The liners dont have to come all the way out but would give you a little more room to work with.
