Unhappy 1/4 panel got kicked in

my car was parked outside my house for a few hours today and somebody kicked/kneed the driver side 1/4 panel in , right by the door, does anyone know how much its going to cost to get "pulled" out at a body shop , also will the paint spider like it does on the front end? the dent is about the size of medium sized dinner plate

Lightbulb Don't if it will work on that size dent, but ...

A buddy of mine got a "good" door ding and had it repaired at the dealer - they used that paintless process or something along those lines.

He said that basically the guy took off the inside trim, and was able to pound from the inside/slash suction cup from the outside the dent out w/ no damage to the paint for around $ 85.00 or so.

I'd check that out if I were you - it's cheap enough to not sting too bad.

Good Luck !

Paintless dent repair places are pretty good. Some old lady backed into our 86 Silverado stepside a few years ago and knocked the rear fender in pretty good. I can't even tell that there was ever any damage there. It's totally open behind the part that was hit so that probably made it easier to fix, but it was only like $50. I've seen what they do, and they can get to pretty much any part of the car without taking any panels off.
