The **official** Meguiar product review

Well now that almost my entire car care line of products in my garage is Meguiars I must post a review.

Meguiars Vinyl, Rubber, and Plastic cleaner - My sister recently spilled a bottle of some sort of makeup on my center console. I tried many interior cleaners but none seemed to remove the stain engrained into the plastic. Sprayed this bottle once and wiped and gone. No more stain just a deep black shine. I proceeded to do the rest of the car. All the shoe marks disappear. My dashboard has never been blacker, deeper, fuller looking. Needless to say I am very impressed.

Meguiars Wheel cleaner- My last bottle was ArmorAll and I wasnt to happy with it. It cleaned off brake dust niceely but nothing else. Dirt, grime and mildew all remained uncleaned. A few sprays of this stuff, let it sink in and instantly my C5 rims are restored to a like new appearance and the silver finish never looked better.

Meguiars Tire shine - Although this provides a decent tire shine it doesnt last more than a day or two. IMO there are better shines out there that last much longer. Skip this one.

Meguiars Leather cleaner - Ahh leather, or in an F-body's case pleather. Our cheap leather knockoff still gets dirty though and begins to fade. However a little Meguair leather cleaner will take care of the problem and instantly rich deep black looking leather.

Meguiars Mist and Wipe - If you need your car to look good and dont have a lot of time then this is your answer. Or if you just waxed it and the car got rained on this is also your answer. Quickly run around your car spraying this and wipe it off and your car is clean again. Although this works great anytime, the results are much better if the car has been waxed rececntly.

Meguiars Paint Cleaner Step 1 - Did a nice job getting rid of swirl marks on my black car. Left the paint looking a little more refreshed and evened out. Cant say anything bad about it, does a good job, but there is better out there.

Meguiars Polish Step 2 - Boy am I impressed with this step. After a good polish the color looks extremely deep and rich. I love black cars and my car was looking its blackest. Extremely impressed with this one. A definite must for anyone, especially a dark colored car.

Meguiars Wax Step 3 - This is a very good wax I must admit while it lasts. But therein lies the problem . It only lasts about 2 -3 weeks. Then it seems like the car has never been waxed. While for the great results it gives I dont mind waxing once a month while its still summer, but come colder weather and Im ditching this wax.

I use simple soap and water to clean windows as it works better than anything which is why I dont have a review on the window cleaner, but I think I covered every major area of a car detail. I can say that overall Meguiars products are probably the best car care items you can find on store shelves. As a matter of fact I think only Zaino can create a better longer lasting shine. Almost all their products left me impressed. The only drawback is that some dont keep the shine long enough. Hope this helped.

I think more people know Zaino than you think , our customer base doubles each and every year which is pretty good with no advertising. Zaino would not be a good off the shelf item, it made for a small amount of the public that really enjoys taking care of their cars, and not for the people who want to wax their cars every few years.

Good review

I used their products for a while and was highly pleased (cept that crap claybar). It was great, but I caught the Z addiction too. Thanks for the writeup though.
