Why? Its better than a pc. of rubber

Lots of people have them...its kind of a road race thing, makes the steering tighter. Someone did a write up on the install in the suspension section

yeah I found those threads... now I really want one. Ive had headers for 3 years, and my steering blows. Looks like that is added to the winter mod list.
Thanks again for all your help!

Ive got an LS1 steering knuckle which is solid and doesn't have a rag joint. You can look up threads online to guys who have converted to them....If interested let me know, but its going to be about the same price as a rag joint elim from that place.

+1 for the Ls1 shaft..... the ragjoint eliminator is a cool idea however its still
too bulky and it adds more useless weight although it is minimal weight but why
add it. Ls1 shaft looks way cleaner.

Re: WTD: new rag joint illiminator...

If you sold the car with the Rag joint eliminator, and the person who bought your car was injured from the steering column, you would be sued.

The Rag Joint is a break point for collisions and if you defeat the design, you are at risk while you drive it and after you sell the car.

Do not think for a moment that some lawyer won't hunt you down and seize your assets if that occurs. Trial lawyers would have a field day with you.

I recommend just replacing it with a new or good used one. I did and it is just fine.

Wow, this is very interesting. If this is a liability, then how can they even sell them?

Have you read anything about this product being in an accident and your stated outcome actually happened?? (column being shoved into the driver?)
