WTB: What are hte best headers and/or exhaust?

Hey all, I just bought a 97 Z after losing my 95 Impala, and just after figuring out the best stuff for that. Now I'm starting over again, and have no idea what the best stuff is for LT1 f-bods. Please let me know, and thanks in advance.

It all depends upon how much money you have, and your own preference....PERSONALLY If i had to choose I would go with Coated Hooker LT(long tube) headers, or Jet Hot LT headers...(both kind of pricey but LT headers give best performance gains).....And for the exhaust....Some prefer Borla, some SLP Loudmouth, Some Corsa, GMMG, Flowmaster, the list goes on

I have a set of pacesetter LT's... I love them so far... for the bang for the buck, they have been the best... they were easy to install (as long as you unbolt the drivers side engine mount and lift the engine a little) and have performed extremely well... as far as plug placement, I can get to every plug from the top in about 5 min's... (I actually did it on the side of the road on monday) Their ORY is awesome also... it flows extremely well but you do have to pound do a little spot on the drivers side so that it clears correctly.

As far as catback, I'd stay with your stock muffler and invest in a cutout with electric butterfly... this allows you to be loud and powerful when you want it, and quiet and calm when you don't want it..
