as long as they are both 4340 i dont think it matters, just dont get the cast eagle ones.they eat bearings, and dont handle lots of nitrous well. buddy broke one in too. it sucked. i had a cast one in my last motor, and after maybe 150 all motor passes it looked like it had 50k miles on it and the bearing were about to give out
