WTB: LT1 Shortblock

Need to put my friend's camaro back together. He threw a rod and trashed his block, so I need a stock shortblock to replace his.

Hoping to find one in/arround Houston, TX but will drive to meet someone if need be.

I have a short block minus the cam/lifters stuff and timing cover.

$200 but it would have to be picked up and I am about 6-7 hours from Houston.

I don't know a much about it. It was pulled from a running car. I bought the complete engine for the heads and intake.

Have since sold the timing cover, and cam stuff.

Still has oil pan on and motor mounts.

i have just the block with two end caps which he could easily take the caps off the other block, line bore/hone and throw a rotating assembely in.

That sounds do-able...
I'll get with you as soon as I get the cash together

No problem.... Unless it sells ahead of time. Just email me or PM. I usually check my PM most days except weekends.

I Live in Cleveland, TX (about 30 minutes north of Humble)
Have a complete short block from my 1994 Z28 (stock). Removed to replace with a stroker, had a blown head gasket, but was running fine. Has 119,xxx miles on motor. Will take $300 for short block if you pick up.
