WTB: 96-97 trans-am stock exhaust

I would like to revert my car back to stock exhasut instead of the LM i have on it now. It is just to loud for me so i figured i would find a stock one and but a cutout on it. If you got opne drop a line please.

Thanks
Dan

Couldnt you just have a muffler shop put a quieter muffler on the loudmouth? That way, you would retain the 3" intermediate pipe and keep some performance gain.

Going back to stock is very drastic, and will cost you performance.

Just a thought.....

Everyone tells me to use the bullets which are almost as loud or a borla xr1 which is almost as loud as a bullet. No one had spoke of a good toned muffler that can fit in there yet. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Call SLP. They have several. They supplied factory upgrade exhaust for the SS and offer many different options that are acceptably quiet.

I used to have the SLP TOTL (Two On the Left) system on a car, and it was not much louder than stock. Very tolerable. I removed my Borla system to put that on there so it wasnt so loud. I'm sure you'd like it.

I have the WHOLE exaust system you need(stock) I just converted over to dual exaust with jet hot headers. I would be willing to part with it fairly cheap. My e-mail is michealroth120800@hotmail.com e-mail me if you are interested.
