i am looking for an lt1 shortblock or longblock with forged pistons and rods, stock crank is okay although i would prefer a 383. must be new or very little use on motor...also would be interested in a forged rotating assembly

 

How much are you looking to spend? I have a Agostino Racing Engines 396ci LT4 setup for nitrous with best of parts. Everything regarding the long block is new and has never been fired or used. The only thing that was reused was the engine block and ARE went thru it. As I said earlier this motor has never been fired nor installed in a car. I just picked the engine up from ARE this past December of 2003.

I have this engine currentley all assembled but would be willing to sell either the long block or just short block. Just depends on $$. Anyone that see's this motor or purchases it will not be disappointed. The engine is comprised of parts from just some of the following Jessel Rockers,4-BOLT MAIN conversion,Forged Cola crank,custom Diamond nitrous pistons with Hellfire rings,electric water pump,solid roller cam and lifters,AFR heads and the list goes on.

what would you want for the shortblock (just pistons, rods, crank, and block)?...i have no need for a solid roller, i do not want to insult you with an offer because it sounds like its out of my price range

 

btw, what is the CR of those pistons on the stock cc heads?
