Your tailights must be in excellent condition with no cracks, broken mounting brakcets, scratches, or hazing, etc. I repeat, they must be in excellent condition.

any wiring changes need to be made to make this work or is it a direct swap?

 

I know there are wiring changes required on the LS1 (for me) but I do not believe it requires any wiring changes for the LT1. You can do a search to be sure, but I think that is what I remember.
