Trans Am foglight

My passanger side foglight has been out for some time now and I need to replace it. Looking for a 93-97 passanger side foglight. Who has one, I'm not paying an arm and a leg either.

I think I've got a couple around here somewhere... will the LS1 foglights work, in case the LT1 foglights are gone?

I also need a foglight, but I'll take backseat until you find one. I am in no way stealing this post.

Re: Trans Am foglight

Have you guys seen the PIAA 510 series Driving Lights? They are like $200, but I drove from Tampa to Atlanta at night with just those on, and I saw better with them than if I had my regular headlights on. I've put them in all of my cars... except the Vette; that gets the PIAA 1100X setup.

Just thought I would throw that out there, in case you wanted to upgrade. I'll check to see if I can find the LT1 lights... I know exactly where my LS1 lights are, if those will work.

The LS1 foglights are not the same.

As for the upgraded lights.... I can't stand that. I wish everyone would keep stock lights. It is so annoying when someone pulls up behind me with those bright things. I especially can't stand it when someone is coming from the opposite direction. Maybe if people could turn them off when passing or something. They are just way too bright.

Re: Trans Am foglight

Upgraded lights are functional... the stock lights are merely for appearance, and don't serve any funtion, other than take up space in the bumper. The problem with people who upgrade the lights, is they don't take the time to properly aim them, and they tend to run them higher than they are supposed to, causing the blinding effect that you are talking about.

I must agree on that. The stock are lights are merely for appearance. It really doesn't make a diffierence whether they're on or off.
