Someone Dayton/springfield Ohio local....
.... with a Hypertech or other programming device be willing to meet up and do a program for a gear swap? I am wanting to go from the 4.10 richmonds down to the stock 3.42.

Hypertechs' are only 1 vehicle only usable,once it's used on a vehicle,internal programming prevents it from being used on a different vehicle.
can't speak about other handheld tuners as I don't know about their compatability.

As for watching ebay for used ones, they will work for you as long as the previous owner reprogrammed his car back to stock. Once it is unlocked you can then use it on your car. That is how I bought the one for my last car, but I am waiting and going to buy the computer setup for my Formula.
