SBC for sale? Anyone?

Does anyone know where i can get a SBC just block, used i planning to do a rebuild and expiriment on one, any suggestions would be apprciated. Thanks

Check out the parts for sale section on this forum... or call a local salvage yard. If youre not particular about the discplacement I'm sure you could find a truck load of 305's for free

I'd either go to a junk yard or buy a new block, depending what I had in mind. New blocks can be had for ~$600 (complete with 4-bolt main caps).
