I have a stock posi from my 94 Z, but it's a series 2. Are you looking for a series 2 or series 3?

Hum not sure if I had to guess probley a series 3.
I know the car has an open 3.08 10 bolt in it.
I like gas mileage so I probley won't be changing gears in it.
you tell me not sure if it would work for me.
What's the diffreance between the series 2 and the series 3?

Thanks,
Chris

If the car came with 3.08 gears from the factory, you have a series 3 carrier for the posi. 3.08 and lower (numerically higher) all use a series 3 carrier, and the ring gears are thinner. Numerically lower use a series 2 carrier and have thicker ring gears. You can use series 3 gears on a series 2 carrier, but a ring gear spacer is needed.

So, if you wanted to use my posi, you would need a ring gear spacer.
