I currently have FLP longtubes on my car and they are not legal here in CA. Now that I am older, I want to get this motor legal looking at least. I am looking for a coated pair of hooker, edelbrock, pacesetter, slp, or jba shorty headers.
The flp setup will be for sale when I find a nice shorty pair or we could set up a trade. Let me know.

 

dont have the brand your talking bout but i got a pair of bbk shorty headers with y pipe could get pics tomorrow for you

 

BBK's are not CARB approved, I already checked. That company doesn't want to pay the fees to have the headers CARB approved.

My FLP's are off the car and will be for sale soon. They are in great shape.
The off road pipes are brand new and the cat coverters are still in good shape too. Any offers will be considered. I paid over $1200 for the kit about 8years ago. U can not even get these headers anymore. The headers have about 20K miles on them. I may end up putting them on ebay.

 

I dont see why any Shorty header with emissions fittings wouldnt be carb approved. We have pretty strict emissions here in Toronto, Canada and we have no problem passing cars with Long Tubes along with small cams. Ive installed BBKs and they are by far one of the best fitting shortys out there. I dont know all the facts about your CARB approved stuff but thats just my 2 cents.

 

I just bought a parts car with Hooker shorties on it. Not sure what they're worth make an offer.

Man, I thought getting a nice used pair would be easy, it used to be a few years back, now theres nothing.
Looking for hooker, edelbrocks, SLP, or JBA's (fat chance)....for not a small fortune.

 

SLP Shorty headers are CARB approved. Your car is a OBD1 car, you will need the headers for a 93 to early 95 with a single cat y pipe to make it legal. Do not get anything OBD2 with dual cat. It will not work with your car.
