LT1 Heads

Would prefer if they had been cleaned up (stage I), but ported would do well also. Just need bare heads with valves.

I have a set of stage 1 ported heads. here are the specs:

These all came off a 95 camaro

The heads were ported by Rex Hutchinson Race Engines in summer 2001.
Here are the specs:

1.57 manley exhaust valves
2.02 manley intake valves
isky dual springs with retainers
comp cam billet locks

I.H. 1.780" 135lbs
Lift .555"
open 1.235" = 300lbs
54.5 cc chambers

they have a competition valve job, polished chambers, ported and machined bowls. The whole job ran $1,341.43 They have about 7,000.00 miles on them.

This intake manifold was ported by MTI(Motorsport Technologies). I paid $225.00 for it. It also has about 7,000 miles on it.

Intake manifold - $150.00 or best offer
Heads - $850.00 or make me an offer

I also have a lunati custom grind cam that has a little more duration and lift than a cc305.

I'm selling because I want to buy a house. There is nothing wrong with any of it. Let me know if you want more info. I will not refuse any reasonable offers.

Tekprodave, I'd like some pics of the intake and the heads. Very interested in them. Would also like to know your impression of them.

I have never run them but the guy I bought them from claimed over 340 HP at the wheels. I was planning to do some home porting on the runners (intake and exhaust) and leave the combustion chambers and the rest alone. The heads are not port matched to the intake and that bothered me a bit. So the plan was to port match them myself. The intake manifold is nicely ported and ready for a 58mm TB but I would recommend a little work to the heads before bolting them on. They have been degreased but could use a little polish to remove some carbon. I'll try to get some pics in the next couple days. I would keep them but I'm trying to buy a house and I need a down payment. With the cam it would be a very nice "barely streetable/smoggable" combination. The combo was meant to go with a cc305 and 1.6 rockers but I figured a little more lift and duration would still be OK.

sorry no pics yet

I don't have a digital camera and I usually borrow one without a problem but my buddy has been on vacation. I have no idea when he is coming back. My description is very accurate but I'll still try to get some pics for ya.
