Best described as a thin rod approx 10" long with a slight bend and plastic ball joints threaded onto each end. These are situated along the side roof rails right about head level and tie the vert roof cross members together front/aft so the bars stay aligned while the roof retracts. My left one is missing the plastic ball joint. My GM dealer sez they don't come as separate parts. He's trying to sell me an entire roof frame!!! Ride is a Black '96 SS.
