Looking for LT1 engine in Chicagoland area

I'm looking for a good running LT1 short/long block in the Chicago/suburb area. Please, nothing that needs repairs. I have a budget of around $700 - 800.

I'll be pulling the LT1 out of my 96 Vette either next week or the following to install a 388 stroker I'm building.

Shoot me a listing of what you need to be included in "long block".

I'm in Park Forest.

Stock engine's now out of my 96 Vette, bagged up and on an engine stand and new 388 is "In", but not fully connected yet.

Here's what I ended up using off the stock engine; engine has 96,000 miles and was well cared for.

Water pump (I have another one, it's LT1 but not for a Vette - probably 'F' body because hose routing is different)
Oil pan rail supports
Sensors/Senders - Knock, Temp, Oil, Fuel, TPS, IAC
Oil Filter off-set mount
Composite valve cover (1) Tried to get one of them to clear RR poly locks and ended up grinding though top of one of them - so one is still stock and the other has a quarter size hole. I ordered some taller Proforms.
Starter
Throttle Body
Steam vent tubing (but I have another one and the banjo bolts)
Oil dip stick
Exhaust manifolds
Oil pressure sender, fuel switch and their mounting fixtures (they screw into back of block near firewall)
Fuel rails and bolts
PCV valve and grommet
Spark plug wire separators
That's all I can think of.

I also have:
"F" body oil pan
Timing chain cover W/O crank position Sensor provision,
New exhaust manifold gaskets,
New T/C cover gasket
Water pump to block splined connector
EGR valve and solenoid
Valve cover hold down studs and screws

All those go with the engine plus anything else I have that'll work and that I don't need.

Neither oil pan nor intake manifold were removed and valve train is still intact. Engine ran flawlessly; only removed to install one with more HP.

Anyone, who is local, let me know. Shipping is too much trouble and cost me $300 to have my 388 short block shipped from SD! So those who live close will save.

$1,000 firm.

I bought my son a 96 LT1 Vette as a present when he was accepted into West Point, so I could just hang on to it incase he blows his, but I'll sell it if someone meets my price.

Thanks,

Jake
