pacesetter has longtubes brand new emssion legal or no emission for like 275 from summit brand new. no y pipe. not coated coated is like 375 i think. shorty's are even cheaper with a y pipe. i paid 260 for legal pacesetters with a y pipe(not coated).

 

You're comparing apples and oranges.

dude headers are headers. unless you want to compare long tubes and shorties. the differnce are like a 1/2 h/p from hooker shorties and pace setter shorties. if like paying extra money for no damn reason go ahead.

 

but i can get used ones cheaper then pace setter

 

Did you go to the website?What gauge,tube size,and collector size are yours versus these?Do you think they get $750 for nothing?.Plus optimally your exhaust should be around 1300 F.

I want to pull my exhaust off my z if you are interested I will let my full exhaust go for 500 plus shipping. I have ceramic coated hooker supercomp longtubes and y pipe and flowmaster catback. Reason for selling cheap is the headers where made emissions leagal and its a custom y pipe built at a local exhaust shop. The catback was cut to match the y pipe and it is a slipfit y pipe. I cant get very good pics because the exhaust is still on my car which is in winter storage right now.

their an 1 5/8 like most mid lenths and shorties. if i was was gonna get bigger tubes i would just get long tubes which most are 1 3/4. the heat part i agree with. but still 1/3 off the cost isn't much. if you ceramic it's only another hundred bux which brings them to $355.00 thats still a big differance from $750. but whatever thats my opinion. if you wanted new ones i mean. y **** away and extra 400 dollars? for a hooker sticker to put on your fan shroud???
