Re: 96-97 crankshaft hub

I have a hub and balancer.
14.00 for both, plus shipping (USPS 10.95)
Total 24.95

Ahh, so you're OBDII? Are you sure? You have the crankshaft timing sensor?

I had a '95 Z28 and though it came with an OBDII plug, it was OBDI at its heart.

Not trying to be a pest...I just ran the WRONG one for a while and couldn't figure out why I was tearing up belts. Just MAKE SURE you have the right timing cover for that '96-'97 hub.

Re: 96-97 crankshaft hub

You are not being a pest. I am OBD1 also. You did however just give me an idea. Im not working on my own engine right now. I'm in and out of the country every other week so no time. Long story short, I spun bearings so took the opportunity to go ahead and go with a forged 355. Of coursewe found a small hairline crack in the block so had to get another one. No problem $100 later same day(I know i'm blessed). The crankshaft hub was in very poor condition from a previous seal install to stop an oil leak. Again not my work. So I really need a new one. My guy said he found one at a junk yard from a 95 but it was the wrong size. I just now called him and he said he was wrong it was from a 97. So i need a 95. I left out a lot but you get the jist. Thanks
