Hi i have a 94 z28 6speed with 81k with a good misfire and rough idle after about 20 seconds of idle. Seems to miss mainly with initial throttle response and lower rpms and gets worse as the engine heats up. I have done the following to try to fix it; New Air & Fuel Filter, NTK O2 Sensors, Plugs (.50 gap), and Mallory Wires. From the symptoms I have researched it does not seem to be the opti, but it could be. I also have an air bag light that comes on from time to time, a code 64 I believe (I cleaned the ground near the battery terminal). Below are the following items that i am looking to purchase. If you have any of these parts or can give me further info on the misfire (i have searched as many forums as possible). I would really appreciate it.

Driver Door piece with Power Windows/Locks (one of my buttons is broke) would prefer the whole piece that goes around the lock and door handle.
Gears 10 bolt manual 6 speed (my gears are starting to get warn and will need a replacement soon). Perferably 4.11's or something a little lower gearing than stock.
Would love a Cold air intake, and a performance muffler for the right price. I'm just way over budget on this car as most of you can imagine.

Any help is very appreciated. I really want to get this car running up to par asap. Thank You

 

I have a set of 3:42 gears for a 3 series carrier with 90k. Perfect condition and dead quiet. 40 dollars plus shipping. Flat rate shipping should be about 14.

I have a set of 3.42 gears low mile with a Motive Gear install kit for $100 shipped. I even have some aftermarket axle bearings and seals to go with it included.

I have the low coolant sensor for $10 and and Ignition control module for $20. Both are really easy to install. Your misfire could be the ICM and could also be the opti (most likely its one or the other).

 

In a nutshell my1994z28 sold me a EGR that he claimed work, to find out that it did not when i went to get it installed. Two pumps from an air pump showed instantly that it had a bad diaphragm. Upon contacting my 1994z28 he stated that he would refund me the money when he got paid. Pay day came around and no refund. After numerous times trying to contact him, he finally stated that he would no longer refund the money. I offered to ship it back to him if need be but wanted him to pay for return shipping. my1994z28 does not test his parts, and is not a man of his word. Just trying to save the next man the time and grief.

 

Dont sell anything to poormansvette he is a scam...he will claim the parts you send him dont work,him and his little mechanic dont know what the hell they are doing.

 

Yah a big scammer for a $20 egr. C'mon man. There's no way i could be a successful scammer on here trying to pull that off. Why don't you ask sellers ddr698, dld9c1 and 1957camaro if I scammed them?
