3.42 GM gears
I have a 95 Z28 A4 with 2.73 gears.
I want to change them for 3.42's .I know a lot of you guys with M6's go for 4.10's instead of the 3.42's anyone got some for sale?
Can I just buy a spacer from LS1speed.com part number :MOT75S to fit the 3 series gears to my 2 series carrier?
95 Z28 Camaro A4 CAI, MSD 6AL, all the free mods, 3" exhaust cutout where the cat should be , 160 stat, Hypertech III programmer for the fans and I plan to do 3.42 gears next, I have a few cosmetic mods, 97 silver anniversary stripes, 18" Conig lives wires with 245/40 18 dunlop SP9000 sport tires, white dash dials.
14.22 @ 98 mph

Re: 3.42 GM gears
I have some from a 98 Ram Air car it had 56K miles when removed. Yes you can just buy the spacer. But unless you know how to set the proper contact pattern on the gears you would still have to have some one set it up. Or it might whine some. I will take $70 shipped for the gears.
