Ok I paid for these on 4th of April by paypal.There was some question of how much shipping was and was prepared to pay a bit more.But around the 17th of April Zrag emailed me back ,said his wife had just had a baby and he was going to send these out at his expense for the extra shipping do to the delay till the 17th. .And supposedly about the 18th they were supposed to leave.
Now its the 3 of may.Things can sometimes get hung up at the border but have no tracking number and no vert tonneau cover.I have emailed several times in the last few days with no response.I have just left a private message and am posting this and will be the first to post a favorable outcome if they show up .They can get hung up at the border depending on paperwork.I do want them still they were the wife's birthday present.

Anyone else do any deals with Rob Lieber ..Zrag?

I still have a bit of time before file paypal and will wait until end of week for them to show or some tracking number.

So Rob if they are shipped well fine and if you didn't get a tracking number that is not a good way to ship stuff on the boards.

So hoping for a good outcome here for both parties.

And Rob I promise to post a favorable result the instant I see one.

 

Yest the border can be car part purgatory. Since last year they have cut down the ports of entry, for international mail, from 5 to 2. This is why, my fellow Canuck, I prefer to use other shipping companies i.e. Fed-X, Purolator, Ups, etc. They also have an international track system, unlike the Post Office. Some people claim that the brokerage fees are too high ($25.00 and up). This is why you can request to clear your own customs. The company notifies you when the paperwork has arrived and you bring it to Customs, which are always located close to the shipping terminals. Tell the Customs Officer that the goods are for a private party, and they are glad to help out, the paperwork is quite elementary Hint send a female and customs seems to be even more helpful. Second part to this long post is use COD on big ticket items, for the small fee I believe it is worth the insurance. However, I hope things workout, and if they do, please let the rest of us know what a great seller the guy is. Just my 2 cents............

 

When I ordered my DMH cutout it was held up at the border for 3 weeks!

I could've driven to DMH and back in one (long) day and picked it up in person, and maybe should have. Just keep in mind that this happens

 

If they were sent usps then this can easily happen.Hear they turn back parcels with no phone number on them now.!! They are idiots at the border complete idiots.
This is why if you do ship to us Canada guys use a carrier like ups or fedx and then you at least get tracking and they do get the stuff thru customs quite quickly without it going to far away cities.

I have waited a month today and still waiting another week or so to give Zrag every possible opportunity on this deal .At this point I am not saying I was burned simply that I don't have my cover and haven't heard anything really since the 17th from him.I paid paypal and guess will file paypal claim
by end of the week I guess.The limit is 45 days. As I said I want the cover still its wife birthday present.

I have had pretty good luck off the boards but this year is my worst and lost about 350 US on one deal on another board,120 US from a company that sort of is under or something again on another board.And now this deal is starting ot look not so good.
Other than that a few years ago someone think on this board didn't send my part but then did and it was much older but at least similar part to what I bought. That is one reason to use paypal so you have recourse if you get
shafted and at least can mess the guy up a bit if he tries to burn the next guy.
Again I am not saying I am burned here but its been a month and nothing is here.If they went back to him he should know by now and hopefully send them up with tracking number this time thru ups.

 

If it was a tan cover let me know. I was grabbing some parts at a local junk yard and seen they had one. I could inquire about a price if you would like. He is cheap, I got rear bumper cover, the camaro piece above the bumper, left tail light, the dash panel thats run from front window to dash for 150.00

I got name of Rob Pucillo on paypal tranaction but Rob Lieber on email he sent me. Not sure what is up with that

I filed a paypal claim today see what happens.I have had zero response to my emails or pm since April 17,2005. I would recommend not doing any business with this guy until this is cleared up.It may still be some mistake or something but with two different names not looking too good right now.

 

Bit of update..no tonneau cover,no email or pm from this Zrag Rob Lieber or Pucillo whoever he his and no reply so far to paypal claim. Its now the 12th of may and the part was paid for on the 4th of April. It may still have a good outcome but would think the guy would respond to email,pm or something been almost a month. Paypal said I woudl win the claim on the 19th with no good response from seller but not sure exactly that means.Wether it means I get money back or the seller just gets blacklisted on paypal I have no idea.

I recommend extreme caution when dealing with this guy until my situation with him is resolved.

Again if you are out there ZRAg this thing can still be fixed up with a refund or instant shipping of the parts likley too late for the parts now but whatever.

 

you will get your refund at his expense. I believe that paypal will take it out of his account if it's there, and if it ins't, his paypal account goes (-) and he has to deal with them. I had a guy pull this. On the 9th day I got some bs story, but I got my parts a couple days later. Paypal will make it right. They wouldn't make it easy to use rip people off through their service, or it wouldn't be worth using. That's what I like about paypal, the security.

 

Dont be fooled. If he does not have the money in his account, paypal will NOT go after him or take it from his bank account. They can only take what is in his PAYPAL account....I learned the hard way

 

Well after like 45 days paypal ruled the claim in my favor but no money in there so like last guy said get zilch. I am not even 100% sure they take away paypal priviledges and they sure as heck should flag the guy and take money away if he does get some in paypal in the future.

otherwise paypal is no better than just sending money to someone and hoping for the best.

So as update..Bought tonneau cover from Rob Pucillo or Rob Lieber..supposedly from florida. Get different name on his email and from paypal.
He replied once on the 17th of april with some story about his wife had a baby and was shipping it out right away. I paid for it on the 4th of april.

I have seen no sign of it..and had no answer to any of my emails or pm on this board. I made the mistake of not doing what I usually do.get a name and address and phone number so I can check it and if need be harass the guy until get refund or my stuff.

So if anyone knows this guy or can track me down an address or phone number would appreciate it. Not sure where to find number search since live up here in Canada We have canada 411 is there US 411.? or equivalent.

This guys email is roblt1@hotmail.com. So far have to say the guy is a roach.

Again Rob if you are reading this and intend to keep sending emails and pm until I get a refund from you then send the money paypal and will post you did the honorable thing. If you messed up shipping it then fine just send refund and sell it to somebody else. But not answering email or pm is just not a good thing for your character on this board .

And if anyone knows if they will at least take away paypal account and transfer money if he does get some into it that would be a good thing. It dont' say much on the paypal site really.

This is very weird..This guy's email says Rob Lieber and his paypal with same email says Rob Pucillo.

I get a Rob Pucillo in floriday at 1 305-752-6261. Didn't try the number yet but might shortly but no idea if its the right one. Anyone know this guy personally?

He had lots of posts and seemed to be a good guy. Also his last posts were the day he said he was shipping it. And his email appears down now. I have no luck with this stuff!!

He was on the board for years although since his sig now says he sold his car mabye he don't care if he is a member on here anymore.

From now on not doing a deal until verify phone number and address and all that .Break my rule and now got burned.

 

Ok just got a pm from ZRAG .He seems interested in making this right so will report when he does. I have so far never seen the part and paypal did not refund any money as guess there was none in his account. I will be happy as pie to report a positive outcome to this deal.Crossing my fingers. He did have the courtesy to pm me so that is a good sign.
