ZR-1 Replica Wheels for Sale (2 sets)
ZR-1 Replica Wheels for Sale (2 sets)
I have eight ZR-1 Replica Wheels for sale. The wheels are 17x9.5 inches with 56mm offsets (4th gen f-body offset). These exact wheels are currently selling for $167 each at tires.com I purchased 4 of these wheels new (from tires.com) at the start of the 2004 race season. The other 4 wheels came with my car, which I purchased in October 2003 and were puchased by the previous owner in the spring of 2003.

Note that each picture can be viewed with a resolution up to 1280x960. If you would like a specific picture taken of a specific wheel, let me know and I'll take extreme closeups with flash of whatever you would like to see more clearly.
Wheels 1-6 are in very good condition. Look closely at the pictures including the inside face of the wheels. I took a quick pass at cleaning them today and they could come cleaner (I didn't fool much with the recesses for the wheel lugs, for instance). Wheels 7 and 8 have some sort of de-lamination around the outer edge of the rim. I am pretty sure that an SOS pad would clean this de-lamination up, but it will take some of the finish off which would make these harder to keep clean later.
I am looking to sell these wheels in sets of 4.
For a set of 4 wheels chosen from wheels 1-6, I will let the set go for $500 plus shipping. For a set of 4 wheels with two wheels from wheels 1-6 and wheels 7 and 8, I will let that set go for $450 plus shipping.
I am selling these wheels because I am changing road racing classes for 2005 and these wheels are not legal for my new class.

Re: ZR-1 Replica Wheels for Sale (2 sets)
Maybe, maybe not. These are not Camaro wheels nor are they 17x9. When I bought them, I knew that the 10-spokes were available, but I wanted 9.5 inch widths not 9 inch widths. In fact, some race series have a max width of 9.5 and you'd be crazy not to run them as wide as possible.
I am based my pricing on the new price for these wheels. Not potential competing products. I think I have a higher probability of selling these to a C4 Corvette owner, but they do work quite well on f-bodies so I listed them here, too.

do you have the center caps? if you do, which ones? I already have the same wheels in a polished finish but they are a pain to keep looking good so I am looking for a set like yours, and to sell mine.
Re: ZR-1 Replica Wheels for Sale (2 sets)
I have the caps with the crossed-flags Corvette emblems. I am 95% sure they are still in the baggie they came in, in my garage. Once my 2-year-old takes a nap, I'll go find them.
Re: ZR-1 Replica Wheels for Sale (2 sets)
(Two-year-old napping peacefully.)
I found the set of center caps that I was looking for. All four are in the original bags and have never been taken out. They are the same color as the wheels with a black line around them about 1/3 in from the edge. In addition, there is a Corvette insignia on them - the left side of the insignia is a black-n-white checkered flag anoth the right side is the Corvette crossed-flags in red with a black background. If you'd like, I can take digital pics and send them to you.

Pictures sent.
As far as lapping days are concerned, there are many options. NASA is probably the largest group with the most lapping days available. I am a NASA instructor myself.
Here is a link to NASA's national website:
http://www.nasaproracing.com/
If you look on the left, one item is HPDE/Open Track - this is the name of the NASA program. Read the information at this link as a starting point. Beyond that, NASA is nation wide and broken into regions. At this link, you will also see links to the regional website - since your information doesn't include your location, it's hard to give more information.
In addition, the BMW CCA, Porsche Club, Car Guys, Track Masters, SCDA etc. as well as track operators all run track days. There are tons of choices and the number seems to increase all of the time.
Heck, if you are in my NASA region (OH/IN), come by my paddock area and I'll take you for a ride. It's a blast!
