WTB: Part number 10433037 or 10306248

Hey all,

I'm looking for either 10433037 or 10306248 (the rear hatch trim). It seems long extinct at this point, but wanted to see if anyone had one in their stash.

Part 9 (10433037) is a black rubbery molding that slips over the edge of the hatch glass. In early years (like my 94) it was only used on the bottom edge of the glass adjacent to the spoiler. Later years (not sure what year it changed) it wrapped around all edges of the glass, including the edges adjacent to the roof panel.

It's famous for oozing a black, tar-like substance from baking in the sun.

Discontinued

I've been trying to find a 1pc, but will settle for a three piece if you can get yours off without damaging it too bad. Specifically the corner piece needs to be in good condition

I believe ther wrap around rear hatch glass molding was introduced in the 1995 model year.

I've been hitting up salvage yards for the past few months, I've yet to come across a single used 1pc

Wonder if you could find a small diameter black rubber vacuum hose, and split it so it slips over the edge of the glass.

There you go. I have been doing that tactic for decades. Americans are famous for improvisations. Works for me.
